Product reviewed: ECHOGEAR Sound Bar Mounting Brackets for TVs

ECHOGEAR Soundbar Mount
Why I Bought This
After installing a motorized TV wall mount, I quickly realized something important:
while the screen could now pivot perfectly toward the kitchen and dining area, the sound couldn’t.
The TV looked great when angled, but the audio was still firing straight ahead. That meant dialogue sounded slightly off when the TV was rotated — not bad, but definitely not ideal. I didn’t want to add shelves or furniture under the TV, and I wanted the setup to stay as clean and minimal as possible.
The solution was mounting the soundbar directly to the TV, so wherever the screen goes, the sound follows. That’s what led me to this ECHOGEAR soundbar mounting bracket.
What I Like
Perfect pairing with a motorized TV mount
This is the biggest reason to buy this bracket. By attaching the soundbar directly to the TV, the audio now moves in the same direction as the screen. When the TV pivots toward the kitchen, the sound pivots with it — which makes a noticeable difference in clarity and immersion.
If you’re using a swivel or motorized mount, this solves a problem most people don’t think about until after installation.
Clean, clutter-free setup
Mounting the soundbar to the TV eliminates the need for:
- A console or shelf below the TV
- Extra wall mounts
- Awkward spacing guesses
The result is a cleaner wall with fewer distractions.
Flexible height and depth adjustment
The bracket allows you to adjust both the height and depth of the soundbar, which makes it easy to avoid blocking the TV screen or IR sensors. I was able to dial it in so the soundbar sits exactly where it should without interfering with anything.
Straightforward installation
Installation was simple and well thought out. The hardware is clearly labeled, and the instructions are easy to follow. If you’ve already mounted a TV, this will feel very easy.
Solid build quality
Once installed, everything feels secure. There’s no rattling, flexing, or movement — even when the TV is rotating. That was important to me given the added motion from the motorized mount.
Things to Consider
Check soundbar compatibility
This bracket works best with soundbars that have rear or bottom mounting points. If your soundbar is unusually heavy or has a unique shape, double-check compatibility before buying.
Not ideal for shelf-style soundbars
If your soundbar is designed only to sit on furniture with no mounting points, this won’t be the right solution.
Final Verdict
This mount ended up being the missing piece in my setup.
If you’re using a motorized or swivel TV mount, mounting the soundbar directly to the TV using this mount is the only way to make sure the audio stays aligned with the screen. Once installed, the difference is immediately noticeable — especially when the TV is angled toward another room.
It’s well-built, easy to install, and keeps everything looking clean and intentional. As an accessory to a motorized TV mount, this soundbar bracket makes the entire setup feel complete.
